We ordered the buratta and beat salad, chicken wings, crispy skin salmon, and the short ribs. Everything was absolutely delicious! This was a super relaxed setting, and our server, Naji, was excellent. Would highly recommend for date or dinner with the family.

Second time being here, first time for dinner. Their food is good. Want to tried seas bass but they are already out before 7pm. Beef medallion is good, beef rib is great and shrimp and lobster bisque sauce are all great. Cannot go wrong without peach cobbler dessert. Will be back next time.

Drove from VA. Beach for this, I was not disappointed. The atmosphere was a mature & interesting cozy spot for numerous age group. Service was great for party of 7. She did her thang, with the orders. Noone complained of their meals. WE took pictures of our meals. I tried the desserts too. I had food to take home and that Sweet Potato cornbread - the size was awesome. It went well with my Sunday meal. I will definitely come back for date night up there.. My tab was $57.00 w/tip, the pictures on the wall of who is Liilie Pearl & family was heartwarming.

We had a reservation and were seated immediately. We got a bit concerned when it had been a bit and no server had come. One server introduced herself and then another came who actually took care of us for the rest of our meal! Bella was attentive and great with helping us make menu choices! She asked how we liked our meal and listened eagerly to our responses! The fried Brussels were the best we have ever had! The pork chop and duck (with collard green risotto) were AMAZING! Definitely adding to our “go again” list! PS the people next to us had cornbread and I said “can I get some of that?” and was SO glad I did!!! The best cornbread I’ve ever had!!!

I ate here for the first time and it was absolutely delicious. I had the brussel sprouts, braised pork belly and corn, sweet potato cornbread, pimento Mac and cheese and braised short rib. All of it was good but the braised short rib was my favorite! It came with some garlic mashed potatoes , pearl onions and collard greens. So very yummy!!

Overall really good food when you know what to order. Cheddar biscuits and Brussel sprouts were the highlights! And hear me out, the fries and ranch were top notch too. I'd buy a tub of that ranch if possible

On Saturday May 23 my friend and I walked into Lillie Pearl excited for an amazing dinner, but immediately ran into disaster: the seats were WAY too hard. And when you’re dining with someone who has a sensitive bum, this becomes a five-alarm emergency.
Thankfully, the super comfy seating section was somehow completely open. We nervously asked if we could move, expecting resistance, judgment, or possibly exile from the restaurant. Instead, they were unbelievably kind and happily let us relocate. Even better, we still kept the same server.
Now speaking of the server… absolutely incredible. Did they forget things? Yes. Did they come back multiple times asking if we had already gotten our drinks? Also yes. But they were somehow simultaneously the happiest, friendliest human being on Earth, and honestly that kind of positive energy heals people.
Also, whoever created the charred heirloom carrots with herb goat cheese, spicy honey, and candied walnuts deserves immediate recognition from the Commonwealth of Virginia. Those carrots changed me as a person.
At one point, the lady sitting two tables over got cold and pulled out what can only be described as a children’s blanket that she had apparently brought herself like a seasoned professional. The staff seemed completely unfazed by this tiny blanket situation, which tells me Lillie Pearl fully supports people living their best lives.
10/10 experience. Highly recommend Lillie Pearl for incredible food, emotional support carrots, blanket acceptance, and most importantly, their unwavering support of sensitive bums everywhere.

Went to Lillie Pearl and overall it was a really good experience.
The service was greatwaiter was super helpful and gave solid recommendations. I went with the ribs, and also got the sweet potato cornbread, which was honestly a 10/10. Definitely the highlight.
Sides were all good too the spinach, veggies, and potatoes were all on point.
Only downside was the ribs. They were kind of plain and didn’t have the flavor I was expecting, especially after the recommendation.
Everything else was really good though, and the atmosphere was great. I’ll still give it 5 stars, but realistically it’s more of a 4. I’ll be back to try something else for sure.

Fellow travelers, when in downtown Richmond, please visit Lillie Pearl. A modern upscale casual place that combines traditional southern flavors with global innovation presented in a warm welcoming ambiance. The staff provided service that was welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. We decided to share a couple of appetizers and then an entrée, and it was enough food for two.
During our visit, we ordered the following items:
- Short Rib Eggrolls
- Sweet Potato Cornbread
- House Sauvignon Blanc
- Lillie Pearl Pilsner
- Seared Duck Breast
- Peach Cobbler Bread Pudding
All the items were presented beautifully and were delicious. Our favorites were the Short Rib Eggrolls and the Seared Duck Breast, for which the accompanying peach BBQ sauce and collard green risotto were fantastic.
Lillie Pearl is a wonderful place to visit and enjoy a meal with excellent service.
